Late in life I learned about another,more accurate way to think about this… The change in scale of Greenland vs. Africa is remarkable. It makes Africa seem much more important and mysterious to me.

With poor hearing, it is time for me to learn ASL.

Many years ago I stumbled across the notion of Lucid Dreaming. I started with keeping a journal of what I could remember of the previous night’s dreams. I would record it as soon as I tumbled out of bed. Over time, I began to remember more and more. Eventually, I became aware of myself dreaming, while the dream was in progress.

Once I became aware in dreams I learned to solve problems in my sleep. E.g. math problems from school, or ethical dilemmas that had me stumped in daily life.

I did all this on my own. I didn’t know of anyone else doing the same thing at that time. I didn’t know the term ‘Lucid Dreaming.’

When I left school and entered the work world, I forgot all about it and moved on with life

Now, once again, I am curious…
